PROJECTS

Diego is currently training to fight for the 2024 World Championship title, which will pit him against the world’s greatest downhill skateboarders across numerous continents.

Moreover, he seeks to break the speed record of 146.73 km/h, with the assistance of his technical innovations from 2023.

Performance

Diego is currently working on a documentary around the top speed record attempt and the human aspect behind downhill skateboarding, with the aim to bring new levels of media production to the sport and tell a story that hasn't yet been told.

On the side, he is directing a film focused on the downhill skateboarding community in his place of origin, Mallorca, to bridge his professional skateboarding career with his passion for cinema.

Innovations

In 2023, Diego teamed up with industrial designer Martin Siegrist and composite engineer Aaron Skippings to develop the fastest skateboard helmet in the world, the SSP-1.

Currently, they are still working on new preparations and ideas, which cannot yet be shared!

He has also been working with Jonathan and Fletcher, a textile brand specialised in breaking records across different sports, in making the first ever skateboard ‘speed suit’, as shown to the right.
